Phil’s distinguished career has been with Texaco/Chevron as PR and community affairs manager at the Pembroke Refinery for 20 years, during which time he was responsible for managing a number of major and significant safety, environmental, political and community engagement issues related to the plant.
A number of these issues involved dealing with the national and international press corps, including live television and radio interviews and extensive press releases and briefings.
As a result of his efficient and sympathetic handling of the many sensitive community issues that have arisen from the refining processes, Phil has been recognised with numerous community awards including an MBE in the 2009 New Year Honours list.
Ken has over 30 years senior management experience gained as regional general manager for 2 international PLC’s, providing contracting services to major clients in the energy sector of the market including Power Generation, Power Line Routing, Refining and Petrochemicals.
Recently, Ken has been responsible for providing site services for the South Hook LNG Terminal project in West Wales. This high profile 3 year contract presented many challenges in respect of PR. Community Engagement, Industrial Relations and Environmental lobby groups opposed to its construction.
Ken has received extensive training in all facets of management, public relations and marketing, being adept at effectively communicating at all levels. Until recently Ken was a director of the Energy Industries Council (EIC), a respected professional trade organisation from 2001-10.
Chris is a highly experienced management consultant with more than 20 years consultancy experience. During this time Chris has worked with academic institutions, development agencies and a wide range of companies including more than 300 SMEs in Wales on business development and support programmes and projects.
Chris has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and is accomplished in both one to one mentoring and group presentations and is comfortable in a role of team leader or team member.
Chris is a skilled diagnostician and has developed business positioning and support processes and procedures to enable effective development and change. He is efficient in operation; adept at working under his own initiative, takes pride in meeting defined timescales and is a highly experienced and skilled report author.
Over the last 7 years working within the consultancy industry, Jayne has developed a wide range of skills through contributing to various projects including start up business and financial planning, programme management and operation. She has also worked for associates of CIOTEK on a number of initiatives, market research projects and programmes that have provided her with further insight into the role of a consultant and also increased her expertise and experience within different industries.
Her skills include business development planning and financial forecasting, marketing strategies including communications and research plans, programme evaluation, undertaking research and reporting.
